Miranda Minassian - Articling Student
Miranda is a lifelong advocate who came to the law through a deep belief in community care, equity, and a curiosity about the structures that shape our world. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Common Law program, where she focused on domestic violence, coercive control, and an intersectional feminist approach to the preservation of human rights.
Before law school, Miranda was a veteran of the hospitality industry, spending much of her free time on community advocacy. That experience shaped her practical, people-focused approach and her belief that community care is meaningful work, no matter the setting.
Miranda brings a grounded, hopeful, and client-centered approach to her articling role at Rorabeck Sowerby Theriault LLP.
Outside the office, she invests in the things that keep her centred: cooking, sharing food, and intentionally getting lost in the woods with her dog and partner. Care, dignity, and connection are at the heart of both her personal life and her developing legal practice.
