Gianna MacDonald - Associate

Before moving to Kingston, I grew up in Prince Edward County and attended the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Forensic Psychology. Afterward, I briefly returned home to obtain my Paralegal diploma from Loyalist College before deciding to move to Thunder Bay to attend law school at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University. After graduating from law school, I returned to Prince Edward County before ultimately settling in Kingston.

Since being called to the Bar, I have practiced Family Law in Belleville, Napanee, Kingston, and Brockville. I represent clients in a wide range of matters, including parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, and divorce. I understand that family law can be both stressful and emotionally taxing, so I strive to provide clear, practical advice while effectively advocating for my clients. I accept both private retainers and Legal Aid certificates.

Outside of work, I enjoy nature walks, reading, and binge-watching reality TV.
